Excellence may be demonstrated through one or more of the following: significant and sustained commitment to new initiatives in research, the realisation oF substantial research projects of national or international significance\/impact, co-ordination, supervision and\/or mentoring of staff and\/or HDR candidates, examination of higher degree art or design research students, major achievements in learning new initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mid-career <\/strong>art or design academic staff are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nomination Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Self or research, including practice-based research. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Description and explanation of peer-reviewed traditional and\/or non-traditional research outputs (NTROs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evidence of recognition of the research demonstrated through national and\/or international citations and\/or peer-review in recognised publications, national and international conferences, publications and monographs and\/or awards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience of supervising and\/or examining and mentoring HDR candidates to timely completion and\/or mentoring staff. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven achievements in leading new initiatives. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research achievements sustained
