The award recognises a First Nations art and\/or design academic who identifies as an Aboriginal and\/or Torres Strait Islander person, and whose research and\/or pedagogy engages with the contemporary challenges of higher education and\/or ways of knowing in art and\/or design, and\/or addresses the diversity of staff and student communities.\u00a0<\/span> Nomination Process<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n Self or peer nominations are welcomed with endorsement by Heads of School (or equivalent), and should comprise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First Nations continuing and fixed term, and casual academic staff are encouraged to apply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\n
a) how the methodology\/ies and\/or approach\/es benefited teaching and student experience in art and\/or design, which may include student achievements on completing the course – such as employment, grant applications, exhibitions, consultancies, student feedback metrics; and\/or
b) recognition of the research demonstrated through selection for curated exhibitions in recognised galleries and\/or museums, citations and\/or peer-review in recognised publications, citation\/s in conferences and publications nationally.<\/li>\n\n\n\nDeadline and Submissions<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
