Nominations from Heads of School (or equivalent) should comprise:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A 1-page evidence-based statement in the forms provided on our website which address the selection criteria;<br \/>\nThis should address as many selection criteria as possible and relevant for the candidate in relation to the award. Evidence should include examples, awards, teaching metrics, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate\u2019s CV, with attention to achievements relevant to the selection criteria, ie in the area of teaching, research and practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our awards recognise <strong>early-career academics<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/acuads.com.au\/awards\/innovative-teaching-award\/\">Innovative Teaching Award<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/acuads.com.au\/awards\/innovative-research-award\/\">Innovative Research Award<\/a>), <strong>distinguished staff<\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/acuads.com.au\/awards\/distinguished-teaching-award\/\">Distinguished Teaching Award<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/acuads.com.au\/awards\/distinguished-research-award\/\">Distinguished Research Award<\/a>) as well as <strong>lifelong commitment to art and design<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/acuads.com.au\/awards\/distinguished-fellowship-award\/\">Lifelong Fellowship Award<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Awards will be announced at the ACUADS Conference in Melbourne, 31 October \u2013 1 November 2019. Recipients receive $500 in addition to a citation and the presentation of an ACUADS pin.
