This will position UniSA as the go-to university for people who want successful global careers, as well as for industry and the professions that want to collaborate with our researchers to drive and create their own futures.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this transformation, we are creating seven new Academic Units to support our Enterprise25 strategy and enable a greater focus on the quality of our teaching, research and student experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About UniSA Creative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i.unisa.edu.au\/siteassets\/human-resources\/ptc\/files\/resources\/recruitment\/unisa-creative.pdf\">UniSA Creative<\/a> is a new Academic Unit that explores and celebrates the creative disciplines and their many applications across a wide-range of industries through quality teaching, learning and research excellence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>UniSA Creative offers degrees in the fields of architecture, urban and regional planning, design, contemporary art, communications, journalism, the arts, media, film and TV, and creative and cultural studies.\u00a0 Research in UniSA Creative explores the creative, cultural and technological complexities of our world and their increasing significance for quality of life, the economy, the environment, and policy development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>UniSA Creative\u2019s research activity is focused in the Australian Research Centre for Interactive and Virtual Environments (IVE), the Creative People, Products and Places (CP3) research concentration, UniSA\u2019s Architecture Museum, and the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) at UniSA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As an enterprising and dynamic institution, UniSA is recognised by governments, business, employers and the community for its commitment to research and enterprise, with World-class research in visual arts (results in Visual Arts and Crafts)1; design2; and urban and regional planning<sup>3<\/sup> .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Dean of Research will lead the development and delivery of the strategy for high-quality research within UniSA Creative;\u00a0 deliver research plans, activities and reporting of the research centres, concentrations and groups within the Unit and ensure continuous improvement in the quality, relevance, impact and growth of local, national and international research collaborations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide high-level strategic leadership and to foster research innovation in a unique and modern university setting.
