Awards
The ACUADS Awards celebrate and reward excellence in teaching and research in Australian art and design schools. We seek to recognise work that leads the way for our sector, whether through challenging established practice or demonstrating contributions in teaching and research.
Self or peer nominations are welcomed from the tertiary art and design sector with endorsement by Heads of School (or equivalent) for the annual ACUADS Awards. First Nations, Teaching, Research, and Professional Staff Award recipients receive $1000 AUD each, a citation and a commemorative ACUADS pin.
The ACUADS Executive Board assess all nominations against the stated criteria and reserve the right to make a nomination. One candidate per award category may be successful in any one year. (Note: where a team nomination is awarded, a total of $1000 AUD will be provided to the team with distribution to be determined by the team).
The ACUADS Awards recognise staff in higher education across all career levels:

Grants
The ACUADS Grant Scheme is particularly interested in projects that support network building in the art and design higher education sector. This may be with industry, community, and/or other academic institutions.
Applications should demonstrate national impact or benefit; local and single-institution applications may be less successful. We also encourage proposals that provide evidence of proof of concept or seed projects that will support the development of large grant applications to other schemes. Examples of previous successful applicants are here.
Grant value is up to $5000 AUD.
