Awards & Grants
ACUADS supports the art and design sector via awards to outstanding staff and grants to relevant initiatives.
Heads of School from the Art and Design sector are welcomed each year to nominate staff for the annual ACUADS Awards. Recipients receive $500 in addition to a citation and presentation of a pin at the annual ACUADS conference.
The Executive assess all nominations against the stated criteria and reserves the right to make a nomination. One candidate per award category may be successful in any one year, with the potential exception of awarding two candidates in a category if assessment against the criteria results in two equally highest ranked candidates.
Nominations from Heads of School (or equivalent) should comprise:
- A 1-page evidence-based statement in the form provided addressing the selection criteria;
This should address as many selection criteria as possible and relevant for the candidate in relation to the award. Evidence should include examples, awards, teaching metrics, etc.
- The candidate’s CV, with attention to achievements relevant to the selection criteria, ie in the area of teaching, research and practice.
